Before I had to use powertools/set useplatformclock to true but now it runs at the correct speed.

Edit: This Windows update I did also fixed the speedup issue. Also, if anyone does somehow find a fix for this bug i would be forever grateful if they could share. Obviously this doesn't fix the low quality audio, but it's a step towards making the game more enjoyable. If anyone owns a copy of SR4 and has troubles with this, i would love to see if the problem persists in that game. Hopefully the new game doesn't have this problem. Basically, if you have an nvidia optmus laptop, youre fucked. However, if you're like me and have a gaming laptop with a discrete graphics card and an integrated GPU, you cannot disable 3d stereo or set you vsync to fast, as the processor is the screen has no direct link to the GPU and goes through the processor. The reason setting vsync to 'fast' works for people, is because that disabled 3D stereo. If anyone has a fix please share it, I really wanted to play through the game again for old times sake, especially with the new game coming out soon but this makes the game completely unenjoyable.Įdit: After further research, I think I have found out what the problem is. I dont know if this has anything to do with it but I have an igpu as well as a discrete one, mentioning it as ive had some problems with it in the past. The only thing I have not tried is the nvidia audio thing where you set the vsync to 'fast', as sr3 is not in my programs list for some reason. I have tried running vlc media player in the background, not skipping the logos at the start, having a youtube video in the background etc but nothing works. I really wanted to play through this again but this glitch makes the game extremely unenjoyable. This might not sound like much but it is really a deal breaker for me. The minigun sound is broken, there is no background music in missions and freeroam and stuff, which makes the game extremely bland. Whenever im driving, my car doesnt make a sound. So i recently got sr3 remastered in the epic giveaway, i absolutely loved playing the game with my brother on xbox 360 so was really excited to try it out.
